It had been a long time coming, but Bastian Schweinsteiger has finally pulled on the Manchester United shirt under Jose Mourinho!
The former Germany international and World Cup winner had been frozen out since the manager's arrival, and was even banished to train with the reserves.
But he enjoyed an emotional reintroduction to first-team duties on Wednesday as the Red Devils overcame West Ham to make the League Cup semi-finals.
As was to be expected, fans on Twitter had their own unique take on events - as did the great man himself...
